I reached to change the dial

So I could try to find some more
But then I ran into Lenore
She asked what I was looking for

Thought fast needed an alibi
What else could I be there to buy

With no time to react
I reached into the rack
When I pulled my hand back
Things were back on track

Swallow the Sun saved me that day
I said goodbye and quickly paid
Took my record and got away
Too close the truth nearly betrayed
